Don’t let the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season steal your joy.
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” What is there not to be joyful about? December is the month that we celebrate the birth of Jesus, Emanuel, God with us.
But I have a confession to make. Almost every year I have been a joyless Christian. I have allowed the hustle and bustle to steal my joy. Almost every December work was crazy and the commitments I had seemed to drain me instead of energize me. I am putting a stop to that behavior starting now! I’ve drawn my peppermint stick in the sand!
This Christmas I am going to celebrate every day with joy, hope and enthusiasm leading up to December 25th. Don’t let the holiday season steal your joy. Each day I will share a new idea to celebrate Christmas. I hope you will join me!
