Humor, laughter, joy – It’s all part of being a Christian. So, I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been writing about some pretty serious stuff lately. All of this soul searching is hard work. But we all know that all work and no play is not good for the soul, so I’ve decided to blog on a much lighter note today.

John 15:11 says, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” And then there’s Psalm 30:5, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” It seems that it’s not only through the Bible that God is trying to talk to us. He’s purchased some billboards to get our attention.

A while ago a friend sent me these billboards that appeared on a stretch of highway in Dallas. Each billboard gets better. Even after reading these over and over again, they still make me laugh. God does have a mischievous sense of humor. En-JOY!
