This word, TODAY, is taken from God Notes – Daily Doses of Divine Encouragement.
Today you have a new start. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to come.
What have you learned from the past that can help you today?
What do you want to accomplish today?
Today is a gift of twenty-four precious hours. Begin today with thoughts of gratitude. Before you rush out, give thanks for what you have.
Today, make time for love and laughter.
When today is done, end today with more thoughts of gratitude. Ask yourself, “Did I live today, did I love today, did I give today, did I make today matter?”
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

April 7, 2024 3:31 pmHi Annie,
Thanks for sharing. God is faithful. This long overdue reply comes with my own challenges. My husband Robert had been in and out of the hospital 5X during 2023 battling Parkinson’s/Dementia. He passed away on the 30th of January.
Jesus reminds us that in this world we will have trouble, but with Him, we can overcome the world.
May you continue to lean on the Holy Spirit.

October 15, 2023 12:58 amMy life has been very difficult in many ways; however, l know the Lord has always been with me. I could not have made it without Him. I have faced so many challenges that human power would not have been able to contend with. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit that dwells within. Sometimes l get lost in my own selfish human temptations and veer off track but the power of the Lord draws me right back through trials and tribulations. I am grateful for the spiritual literature that l come across that is written by others. Thank you all so much.
